Mcdonalds Breakfast

I am seldom to go to Mcdonalds for my breakfast. But I dropped my car to replacing the front tyres. That is too early, nearly, no shops is opened at that time in Garden City. Mcdonalds was opened. Thus, I went to there and had a McMuffin breakfast. That is not too bad. I had a McMuffin meal, included a McMuffin, hash brown and tall size coffee. That is a good deal.

Brisbane Dust Storm

I heard about my friends in Sydney. They were talking about a serious dust storm. I thought the dust storm only affected in Sydney

But around 11am, the sky was turning to orange!

An hour later, even the air turned to yellow! I can't see the sky clearly. When I went out for lunch, my eyes were very comfortable, my eyes were tearing as well. my mouth felt like full of dust.
After 4pm, the dust storm went away. But my car was full of dust after that. When I went home, I washed my car immediately!

The news report said Sydney has not hit that serious dust storm before. In Brisbane, that is only one since 2002. But in my memory, the one on 2002 was not that serious. Bureau of Meteorology said that is a natural phenomenon. The dust storm came from Central Australia and Western New South Wales. And Now, that is heading to Northern Queensland.

Brisbane is the 3rd largest city in australia, she is also the captial city of Queensland. Thus, Brisbane is the headquarters of Brisbane City Council and Queensland Government. Australia has a federal system, the federal government is mainly to take care foreign affairs and defences. Well, but each state has legislature, executive, and judiciary powers. Each state has a different set of laws. For example in NSW, you cannot holding a koalas for photo taking. But in QLD, you can (as far as I know). Those state laws are passed our Parliament。She is formed 89 members, each member represents an electorate of 29898 people. Each term is three years. For Parliament house is at the intersection of Alice Street and George Stree. Thereforem it is next to Queensland University of Technology. Moreover, that is a historical building. It built on 1868 French Renaissance style. Moreover, they built a new 22 stoery Annexe building on 1979, but I love the old section more.

Brisbane City Hall

Brisbane City Hall, where is the seat of Brisbane City Council, a landmark of Brisbane. It located at the heart of Brisbane Heart of Brisbane City, between Ann Street and Adelaide Street. Besides of good location, the architecture impressed me, I think that looks a Forum. In addition, it has a 70m height clock tower and four faces clock is the largest in Australia. As a landmark of Brisbane, I felt like that is a bit new. It opened on 1930, 79 years old.

Apart from as a landmark, that is a city hall. It has a big function hall. A various kinds of activities can be held in there, such as concerts, graduation ceremonies and citizenship ceremonies. Mine one was held in there.
